Kingfisher Prep is Sponsoring Runners for RunDisney through Starlight Children's Foundation
We have exciting news! Kingfisher Prep is sponsoring runners for this year’s RunDisney events through Starlight Children’s Foundation, and we would love your help to bring happiness to kids in hospitals.
Kingfisher Prep tutors have been volunteering for Starlight for almost a year, and we love their mission. Starlight provides soft Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, and Pixar-themed gowns so that hospitalized kids can dress up as their favorite characters. They also bring games, child life specialists, and toys to kids all over the country. Because they work directly with Disney, Nintendo, the Ghostbusters, and many other large companies, sometimes they even organize character visits to hospitals! Many of our students have spent time in the hospital, and we know how scary and stressful it can be. It’s our mission to take the stress out of kids’ and parents’ lives, and this is one of the ways we fulfill it.
We are helping our runners fundraise money for this year’s Halloween Half Marathon at Disneyland. If you’d like to donate, click here! We’re trying to raise $800 by the end of June, and don’t forget that donations count as a tax deduction. If you choose to donate or share with friends, our most sincere thanks. You are helping make a difference to kids going through one of the scariest experiences of their lives.

Thank you so much and we hope you’re having a beautiful spring!
