Introduction

Hello and welcome. I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Nathaniel Dolquist, and I’m excited to

welcome you to this college admissions course from Kingfisher Prep.

My hope is that this course makes the college admissions process feel easier and far less

stressful, whether you’re a student, a parent, or a teacher.

About the Instructor

I’ve been a tutor for over a decade, working with students in New York, Los Angeles, and many

other places across the country and the world. I’ve had the opportunity to work with students

from some of the best high schools globally, and I truly love the work that I do.

Over the years, I’ve seen how confusing and overwhelming the college admissions process can

feel—especially when students don’t have access to clear guidance.

Why This Course Exists

I created this course because I believe the strategies and insights I share with private students

should be universally available. College admissions guidance shouldn’t be limited to a small

group of people.

Through Kingfisher Prep, my goal is to give students, families, and educators access to the

same clarity and structure that helps students succeed.
